If you want to go beyond that, people also want bike lanes. Maybe you could do something similar with Pop Up or Tactical Urbanism issuu pamphlets. Paint those yourself. Of course you could get your city or town to do it with stakeholder input and there are organizations dedicated to promoting that. Remember, riding a bike in a city is a radical act.
